The facade of every structure is the first visual identifier, architectural identity card and the main protective layer of the building against destructive environmental stresses. In the northern cities of the country, especially the rainy, dynamic and industrial city of Amol, the facades of buildings are continuously and cruelly affected by absolute humidity, alternating sunlight, corrosive gases and temperature changes. In such rare climatic conditions, old structures that have used traditional facades such as brick, cement, sand mortar or heavy slab stones, after a few years, suffer from a severe quality decline, color fading, dandruff, deep cracks and even the terrible risk of parts falling. Therefore, the restoration and replacement of the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol has become a vital and unavoidable engineering necessity. As a reference for the design, engineering calculations and execution of all kinds of modern aluminum facades in Mazandaran, Ryan's specialized collection of North Facades is a pioneer in this direction to turn the dull and dilapidated buildings of the city into luxury, safe, insulated and extremely valuable structures. In this comprehensive article, we analyze all the technical, executive, economic and strategic advantages of replacing the worn facade with composite panel in Amel city.
Facade deterioration crisis in the special climate of Amel city
Amel city has continuous seasonal rainfall, very high relative humidity in hot seasons and humidity fluctuations in winter due to its special geographical position, neighborhood with the slopes of Alborz and the basin of the Big Haraz River. Conventional and traditional facades, such as simple cement work, building paints and old dense stones, are highly vulnerable to the continuous cycle of moisture absorption and removal. The gradual penetration of moisture into the depth of the construction mortar causes the oxidation of metal connections, the loosening of the adhesion of the material, and eventually the sudden peeling or detachment of the stone. This issue not only makes the visual appearance of authentic Amol streets such as Imam Reza Street, Heraz Street, Sabzeh Maidan and Janbazan Boulevard unsightly, but also brings life risks and huge financial losses for passers-by and residents. Choosing the method of rebuilding and replacing the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol as an engineering answer is the end of all these humidity and climate challenges; Because modern composite sheets create an impenetrable barrier against water droplets and air pollution due to their anti-rust material and multi-layer structure.
Why is aluminum composite sheet the best option for facade renovation?
Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP for short) consists of two layers of thin but very strong aluminum shell with a middle core made of dense polyethylene or fireproof minerals. The outer surface of these panels is protected by polyester resin coatings or resistant PVDF resins. This industrial structure has made composite one of the most flexible, lightest and most resistant facade materials in the world. In renovation projects where the building does not have the ability to bear additional dead load, composite creates a weight of about 5 to 6 kg per square meter, which is a miraculous structural advantage compared to the 40 to 100 kg weight of stone and brick facades. The extraordinary flexibility to implement arches, sharp angles, modern breaks and various grooves leaves the architect's hand completely open to give a futuristic effect to the old body of the building.
The golden benefits of renovating and replacing the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol
Choosing this material in the city of Amol is not just a simple appearance transformation, but an engineering decision with long-term efficiency. When you decide to restore and replace the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol, your building will be equipped with valuable advantages, some of the most important of which are:
Decreasing the dead load and preventing seismic damage: Amol's old structures are sensitive to the forces caused by earthquakes. The significant reduction in the weight of the facade minimizes seismic risks.
Absolute resistance to moisture, decay and rust: unlike ordinary galvanized plates or concrete, aluminum does not suffer from red rust and does not rot in frequent contact with dew and sleet.
Impressive acoustic and thermal insulation: the air space trapped behind the panels and, if necessary, the use of stone wool layers, reduces the heat exchange between the inside and outside of the building and significantly curbs the energy consumption of cooling systems.
Unrivaled speed of implementation without the need for heavy demolition: light infrastructure and dry joints enable the rapid implementation of the project in high-traffic and commercial areas of Amol without disrupting business or daily life for months.
Washability and easy cleaning: the advanced nano coating in many high-quality sheets prevents the deposition of soot, dust, acid rain and fat on the exterior wall.
Significant increase in real estate and commercial value: Whether it is a residential complex in Amol or a medical unit or a commercial store along busy streets, the market value of the property jumps immediately after installing a modern facade.

Engineering steps of replacing worn facade with composite facade in Amol
The process of rebuilding and replacing the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol is a precise multi-stage operation that must be carried out based on the criteria of the national building regulations of Iran:
The first stage: detailed static analysis and monitoring of the worn-out wall
In the first step, the technical experts of Rayan Namez North are sent to the project site in Amol to evaluate the condition of existing materials, the degree of adhesion of old layers, the strength of the building frame and concrete or steel joints. At this stage, it is decided whether there is a need to tear down parts of the old facade, or whether it is possible to connect the new substructure system without destructive destruction by applying reinforced steel braces.
The second stage: laser engraving and exclusive 3D design
Using the precise equipment of laser meters and engineering scanners, the exact dimensions of all the corners, openings and protrusions of the structure are recorded. Then, taking into account the building's use (office, commercial, residential, medical), the design team of Rayan Namaj Shamal models several modern visual scenarios with the combination of glass, thermowood or aluminum louvres, and after the client's approval, enters the shop drawing phase.
The third stage: building a strong and rustproof infrastructure
The foundation of the main skeleton of the facade acts as the backbone of the panels. In the humid climate of Amol, the sections of iron cans used must be reinforced with industrial alkyd rustproof coatings or hot galvanizing process in order to prevent any corrosion due to perspiration and moisture penetration. Connections, brackets and anchor bolts are secured based on wind and earthquake load calculations.
Fourth step: grooving, bending and fixing composite panels
Composite sheets with standard thicknesses (usually 4 mm with an aluminum skin of 0.3 to 0.5 mm) are grooved by industrial machines and their edges are formed into cassettes or flat plates. The installation team mounts the panels on the cans with millimeter precision and using laser levels and use the fixing or hanging system according to the project conditions.
The fifth stage: sealing, sealing and hydrostatic testing of the façade
One of the most critical steps in the reconstruction and replacement of the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol is the implementation of sealing lines. The space between the panels (the space between the panels) is filled with dense polyethylene foams and blocked with neutral silicone adhesives (Neutral Silicone) anti-UV or German polyurethane adhesives in such a way that not a single drop of moisture penetrates the back of the panels even in the strongest rainstorms.
Implementation methods of composite facade in the renovation of Amol buildings
In the field of renovation, the choice of installation method directly affects the durability and stability of the facade. Two basic methods are used to restore and replace the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol:
Fix (fixed) method: In this method, after cutting and bending, the composite panels are directly attached to the grid of iron cans through stainless steel screws or aluminum rivets. This method is a very popular choice in the renovation of facades of Amol shops, banks and commercial centers due to its rapid installation speed and affordable cost. In this method, sealing is done with resistant elastic adhesives.
Hang method (rail or hanging): This method is the most advanced method of composite implementation, in which aluminum profiles are used instead of iron. The panels are hung as grooved cassettes on aluminum rails. Due to the absence of hard screws, this system has great freedom of thermal movement and does not create any waves or deviations in the surface of the sheet during contraction and expansion caused by the temperature fluctuation of Amol. The sealing of this system is extremely safe due to the natural slope and mechanical direction of the water flow, and it is considered the number one option for luxurious and high-rise projects by Ryan Namez Nomal.
Common applications of reconstruction with composite in the urban fabric of Amol
Renovating and replacing the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol covers a wide range of uses:
Medical complexes and treatment clinics: the visual cleanliness and luxurious form of the facade gives clients a high sense of confidence and improves the health standards of the environment.
Office buildings, banks and financial institutions: old concrete facades degrade the brand's office identity; Reconstruction with composite creates a formal, solid and very modern effect.
Passages, exhibitions and business units: Renovating storefronts and storefronts with glossy or matte composite will increase customer attention and increase sales traffic.
Industrial structures and sheds: Due to their presence in Sharjah areas, Amol industrial estates require durable materials for walls and entrances that can resist industrial oxidation.
Factors affecting the price of reconstruction and replacement of the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol
One of the most frequent questions of employers during the renovation and replacement of the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol is the cost estimate. The final price of this process is determined by several key factors:
Brand and thickness of aluminum sheet: composite sheets with thicker skins (such as 0.5 mm) and external PVDF or nano resistant coatings have a higher price than economic light panels.
The amount and complexity of the infrastructure: if the building frame requires heavy ironwork or the removal of severe old walls, the amount of iron cans and the welding fee will increase.
Selected installation method (fix or hinge): implementing the hinge system is more expensive than the fix method due to the use of more expensive aluminum fittings and sections.
The need to destroy or maintain the previous facade: if extensive scaffolding is needed, the separation of slippery stones and the transportation of debris from the site, miscellaneous operational costs will be added.
Architectural design and the amount of sheet deviation: facades that include numerous breaks, spoons, circular columns or parametric designs, increase the deviation of the composite sheet and require more specialized manpower for installation. Ryan Namaz North will bring your cutting (Nesting) optimization software calculations to the absolute minimum to achieve the greatest economic savings.
Key points in restoring weathered facades for wet areas
At the time of renovation and replacement of the worn facade of the building with a composite facade in Amol, paying attention to executive details becomes a hundred times more important. The slightest carelessness in anti-rusting profiles can cause infrastructure erosion after a while. Using cheap galvanized screws is an unforgivable mistake, as the rusting of the screws due to moisture will leave permanent yellow and brown stains on the surface of the composite joints. Also, the use of low-quality acid silicone adhesives instead of polyurethane or neutral adhesives will cause rotting of the rubber edges and the entry of water deep into the wall of the building. The experienced engineers of North View Ryan implement the strictest quality control patterns in all joints and connections, knowing these weather details.
